A couple of years ago, a really really really great thing happened in the sleepy little town of DeLand: we got our very own brewery. Persimmon Hollow Brewing Co became a fast favorite amongst both local and visiting jumpers. With a slogan that states “Drink Sensibly, but get weird” – how could it not. This coming Friday, we’ll be doing just that at Skydive DeLand, hopefully bringing you some fun from the swop & chugs, as they happen.
For the second year now, Persimmon Hollow, Skydive DeLand and the Perfect Spot present Cinco de Swoop & Chug at Skydive DeLand.
Who: Skydivers of any skill level can compete, Sponsors, General Public
What: Persimmon Hollow, Skydive DeLand & The Perfect Spot present Cinco De Swoop & Chug at Skydive DeLand.
When: Friday May 5th 2017, beginning at 4pm
Where: Skydive DeLand – 1600 Flight Line Blvd. DeLand, FL.
Why: To promote community, skydiving manufacturers and local businesses coming together for an evening of skydiving, (then) beer and fun.

This event reminds us of the times we simply had fun at the DZ with all of our friends and family. Beer and skydiving have always gone hand in hand and this event brings those 2 things together in a light hearted, fun for all competition with great prizes and of course, bragging rights.
Awards for Speed, Style & Accuracy for the landing and chugging of a beer. Persimmon Hollow will bring a limited release beer along with Giant Beer Pong and Corn Hole games. Themed dinner will be provided.
