No Solicitation, please!

The other day Faith and I were sitting at our desks at the Blue Skies Mag office, working away, when there was a knock on the door. The visitor introduced himself and told us he was there on behalf of an organization that makes it a mission to help young Florida students to pass the F-cat tests. Evidently Florida isn’t doing to hot on those tests, crikey!

I politely explained that we would sadly not be able to save the Florida youth, being a broke little startup. He then suggested a link exchange on our websites and started explaining to me how beneficial that would be for my audience. At that point, I handed him a copy of the latest magazine (Issue 24, September 2011). He opened the magazine to a photo of some dude in a Borat unitard striking a pose and then turned the page to reveal a naked gay-4-way. At that point he muttered something about the world going to hell in a handbasket and fled the scene in a hurry.
