It’s not the first time the idea has come up, but once again a production company is looking at the concept of airing a reality show about skydivers and their life on a dropzone. From what we have seen, there is no shortage of “unique” characters in this sport so that should not be a limiting factor. If it works out, it could be a great boon for skydiving and bring a lot of attention to the sport – Point Break style. Read on, and if you have any further information about this project, by all means keep us posted. The curiosity is about to kill this cat!
CASTING CALL – SKYDIVERS WANTED
Production company is casting a new reality TV show that is all about skydivers. We are looking for 4 to 6 “unique” characters. Male and female, quiet and loud, fearless and afraid, blue collar and white. If selected you can keep the day job and spend weekends traveling the world skydiving while becoming a celebrity. Compensation to be determined.
If you are interested (and 21 years or older) e-mail a resume along with a recent head shot to SkyJunkies@aol.com. Be sure to include your name, address, phone number, age, sky diving experience (be honest – we are accepting all levels) present job, and any interesting tidbits.
We will select 20 candidates as finalists. Finalists must report to a designated local site on a weekend to be named to be filmed (on the ground) as part of a screen test.
* We are also looking for several experienced sky dive cameramen.
So there you have it, get your acting on and go audition to become the next reality TV hero!
